Frequently asked questions

What shop owners ask before they connect Vendigit.

Answers and accuracy

Will it make up prices?

Names, prices and links on product cards come straight from your feed. The assistant is instructed not to state a price, stock level, delivery time or refund rule that it did not find in your catalog or on your site, and to say so when it does not know.

Where do answers about delivery and returns come from?

From your own site. After you verify your domain, Vendigit collects your delivery, payment, returns, FAQ, about, contacts and terms pages and answers policy questions from them.

What happens when it does not know the answer?

It says so instead of guessing. When the customer needs a person, the conversation is handed to your manager.

What will it refuse to talk about?

Politics, medical, legal or tax advice, competitors, and anything unrelated to your shop.

Setup and platforms

Does it work with my platform?

There are no plugins to install. Any platform that publishes a product feed on your domain works: Horoshop, Prom, WooCommerce, OpenCart, Shopify, Magento or a custom build.

Do I need a developer?

No. You add one DNS record and either paste one snippet into your site or connect a Telegram bot. The setup guide walks through all five steps.

Why do I have to verify my domain?

The assistant only runs on websites whose owner is verified, and verification is what lets it collect your delivery, payment and returns pages. It takes one DNS TXT record.

Do I have to move my store?

No. Your store stays where it is. Vendigit reads your feed and your pages; it does not replace your platform or connect to its API.

Product feed

Which feed formats are supported?

XML (including YML and Google Merchant / RSS), CSV or TSV (including Shopify and WooCommerce exports) and JSON, as a link on your domain or an uploaded file, up to 128 MB.

Do I need to rename the columns in my feed?

No. An AI model maps your feed's columns to names, prices, stock, categories and the rest.

How often do prices and stock update?

A feed added by link re-syncs every 6 hours.

What if my catalog is bigger than my plan?

The plan indexes products up to its limit; the rest stay out of search until you move to a larger plan, and are indexed at the next sync. Limits are on the pricing page.

Website, Telegram and your team

Website widget, Telegram, or both?

The website widget is on every plan. Telegram is on Growth and above, and you can run both for the same shop.

Can I change how the widget looks?

Yes. Colour, position, the assistant's name and the greeting change from the dashboard, without pasting the snippet again.

When does a person take over?

When a customer asks for a person, complains, disputes a return or warranty, asks about wholesale or an existing order. Your team gets an email, and you can reply yourself or take over the dialog at any time.

Where does my manager reply?

In the Vendigit dashboard, in the same chat the customer is already in, with the whole conversation in front of them.

Personal data and languages

What about my customers' personal data?

The assistant never asks for addresses, card details or passports. Card, IBAN and passport numbers a customer types are masked the moment they arrive; phones and emails are hidden from the AI and visible only to your team.

What languages does it answer in?

Ukrainian, Russian or English, in the language the customer writes in. Feeds can be in Ukrainian, Russian, English, Polish or German.

Pricing and billing

How much does Vendigit cost?

Starter is $20 a month, Growth $65 and Business $99; Enterprise is agreed with you. See what each plan includes.

Is there a free trial?

Yes: 14 days on Starter, with Starter limits. No card required.

What counts as a dialog?

Every 8 customer messages in a conversation count as one dialog. You get an email at 80% of your monthly allowance.

What happens when the dialogs run out?

New customers see your shop's contact details instead of an answer until the next billing period, or until you move to a larger plan.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time from your dashboard. Your plan runs to the end of the paid period, and the first payment is fully refundable within 14 days; see the refund policy.

Who processes payments?

Paddle, our Merchant of Record. It handles payment, taxes and invoices.
