How Vendigit works
An AI shopping assistant that answers your customers from your product feed and your own policy pages, and passes the conversation to a person when it should not answer.
Where the answers come from
Vendigit does not answer from general knowledge. It uses two sources, both yours:
- Your product feed. Names, prices and links on product cards are built from the feed rows. Search works by meaning, not only by name, so a customer can describe what they need in their own words.
- Your site's own pages. Once your domain is verified, Vendigit collects your delivery, payment, returns, FAQ, about, contacts and terms pages and answers policy questions from them.
The assistant is instructed never to state a price, stock level, delivery time or refund rule it did not find in these sources, and to say so when it does not know. A feed added by link re-syncs every 6 hours, so answers follow your catalog.
What a conversation looks like
- A customer writes in the widget on your website or to your Telegram bot and gets your greeting.
- Spam and off-topic messages are caught first.
- The assistant picks what it needs: product search, categories, brands, comparing products, advice on choosing, or your policy pages.
- The reply streams in with product cards from your feed: name, price and a link to the product page.
- If a person is needed, the conversation goes to your manager.
- At the end the customer can rate the conversation from 1 to 5.
When a person takes over
Some conversations should not be answered by AI. Vendigit hands over when a customer asks for a person, complains, disputes a return or warranty, asks about wholesale or an existing order, or reports a damaged delivery.
Your manager gets an email and replies from the Vendigit dashboard in the same chat, with the whole conversation in front of them. While a manager is in the dialog, the assistant stays quiet until the dialog is handed back. More in when AI should hand over to a manager.
What it will not do
- Give political, medical, legal or tax advice.
- Discuss competitors.
- Answer questions that have nothing to do with your shop.
- Ask a customer for personal data such as an address, card or passport number.
Your customers' personal data
Card, IBAN and passport numbers a customer types are masked the moment they arrive. Phone numbers and emails are hidden from the AI model but visible to your team, so a manager can still get back to the customer. More in AI chatbots and personal data.
Languages
It replies in Ukrainian, Russian or English, in the language the customer writes in. Your feed can be in Ukrainian, Russian, English, Polish or German.
Your website and Telegram
- Website widget, on every plan: one snippet before
</body>. Colour, position, name and greeting change from the dashboard without pasting it again. - Telegram, on Growth and above: your own bot, created in @BotFather, answering for your shop.
Not sure which one you need? Read website widget or Telegram.
Any platform, no migration
There is no plugin to install, no store to migrate and no platform API to connect. If your platform publishes a product feed on your domain, Vendigit works with it: Horoshop, Prom, WooCommerce, OpenCart, Shopify, Magento or a custom build.
Next: set it up in five steps, compare plans or read the FAQ.
